Feichtnerschacht 2003

    Expedition Feichtnerschacht 2003 took place between 23 March and 12 April. The exploration was led from the bivouac at -700 m in Room of Prophet and from - 450 m in Z Miśkiem Room. We continued the exploration from depth of - 990 m (5th Bottom). The way led us by very nice cascades and meanders but it finished soon in Cracow Siphon at -1032 m. This is the end of this cave's part. Now the only one way going down is 4th Bottom, where exploration was stopped at level about -780 m (Cascades with Smile). During our activity we started climbing in chimneys, they are still open. During three weeks it was explored more than 500 m of corridors and pits. Now Feichtnerschacht is known at length of 4,3 km.

The Expedition was organised by Cracow Caving Club and it was led by Andrzej Ciszewski.
