Trip led by Stanisław Kotarba and Wiktor Bolek operated in the Garda Seaca Valley, near Garda de Sus village (Bihor Mountains). Trip members divided into two groups. The first led by Wiktor Bolek were diving in Cotetul Dobresilor spring (75,6 m of depth) but without any discoveries. The second group led by Stanisław Kotarba was visiting Zgurasti Cave (5210 m of lenght). It is a part of the karst sysytem plateau Hanasesti - Zgurasti Cave - Poarta Lui Ionel. The main entrance is situated 150 m above Ordanusca Valley bottom. The main corridor runs between -50 and +20 m level but it necessary to use 400 meters to reach the terminal point. The water can be a very big problem too. The water level oscilate to 10 meters, and it can cut off the back way. During the low water level there exist two lakes: Lacul Mare (the Big Lake) - the biggest water cave reservoir with 20'000 m3 of capacity, and Lacul Lung (the Long Lake) 120 meters long. During two visits the group got to know the cave and made documentary photographs.
P.S. I would like to thank Cristian Ciubotarescu from A.S. "Sfinx" Club for his hospitality.
